Conical shape with dense growth and ascending branches in the first years. Later the branches spread out but still remain compact. Silvery-blue foliage. Grows in any type of soil, even dry and calcareous. Used in rock gardens together with other conifers of a different shape and colour, and also in containers. Growing requirements and use: the same J. chinensis “Blue Alps”.
